It means something to me because it signifies the passing of time. It also makes me reflect on my life and all the changes I have gone through to arrive at where I am now.

Reply:One of my favorite lines is "i got no time to ge to where i don't need to be." It's from the Jack Johnson song Breakdown. The whole song is good, too.

This is special to me because the guy I'm in love with was playing this on his acoustic and he asked me to sing it with him so i sat next to him and we both sang it together. when we got to this part of the song we starred at each other when we sang this entire verse.

I dont know why but this song really just puts me in a good mood - I could be having the worst day ever and it just melts away whenever I hear his voice, and his tone is very soothing in this particular song. THe lyrics themselves are just very carefree, about spending time with someone you love and really it isnt wasting time if you're doing something you enjoy. Yeah it may not be the most articulate explanation for liking a song but I love it all the same.
