I love to write song lyrics and have notebooks full of them. Only thing is I don't know a thing about putting them to music. Is it possible to only sell your lyrics to songs? Does anyone have any details?

u could find a professial agency type place where they sell ur song to like a band and the band put music to the song. or u can just find someone who makes there own music (a person u no) and they will ur lyrics to a song

Reply:My dear, that is called poetry. Lyrics is the song, they must have a melody, a structure, and rythm, among other things.
You could have your poetry published.
