Any ideas of a pretty poem or song lyrics to put on the back of my wedding program?

Could you all help me find a pretty poem about love or a pretty song lyric about love to print on the back of my wedding programs? I was thinking maybe putting the lyrics of "Making Memories of Us" by Keith Urban on the back of our programs since that is "our" song. But, it just doesn't fit what I am looking for. Any ideas?

Any ideas of a pretty poem or song lyrics to put on the back of my wedding program?
Here is one that was read at a friends wedding.

These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.

These are the hands that will work alongside of yours, as together you build your future.These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other.

These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes: tears of sorrow and tears of joy.

These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children. These are the hands that will help you to hold onto your family as one. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it most.

And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.
Reply:Maybe this won't help, but I'm putting our first dance song lyrics on the back of our programs.

"We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters

We've only just begun

To live

White lace and promises

A kiss for luck and we're on our way

Before the rising sun

We fly

So many roads to choose

We start out walking and learn to run

And yes we've only just begun

Sharing horizons that are new to us

Watching the signs along the way

Talking it over just the two of us

Working together day to day

Together

And when the evening comes

We smile

So much of life ahead

We'll find a place where there's room to grow

And yes we’ve just begun

To live

We’ve only just begun

To live
Reply:From "Union"

by Robert Fulghum

"You have known each other from the first glance of acquaintance to this point of commitment. At some point, you decided to marry. From that moment of yes to this moment of yes, indeed, you have been making promises and agreements in an informal way. All those conversations that were held riding in a car or over a meal or during long walks - all those sentences that began with “When we’re married” and continued with “I will and you will and we will”- those late night talks that included “someday” and “somehow” and “maybe”- and all those promises that are unspoken matters of the heart. All these common things, and more, are the real process of a wedding. The symbolic vows that you are about to make are a way of saying to one another, “ You know all those things we’ve promised and hoped and dreamed- well, I meant it all, every word.” Look at one another and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another- acquaintance, friend, companion, lover, dancing partner, and even teacher, for you have learned much from one another in these last few years. Now you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this- is my husband, this- is my wife."
Reply:--Here are some ideas:

1.) These I Can Promise

Author Unknown

I cannot promise you a life of sunshine;

I cannot promise riches, wealth, or gold;

I cannot promise you an easy pathway

That leads away from change or growing old.

But I can promise all my heart's devotion;

A smile to chase away your tears of sorrow;

A love that's ever true and ever growing;

A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow.

2.) A Marriage- Unknown

A marriage is two special friends

Who blend their lives as one,

Who pledge to love with all their hearts

Until their lives are done.

A marriage is a friend for life --

A lover’s sweet embrace,

A faithful partner one can trust

And dreams to share and chase.

A marriage is a feeling warm

When cold winds blow at night.

It’s comfort in the midst of trials

And hope at morning’s light.

--good luck and best wishes
Reply:On the back of mine i am putting this poem that i found

Today we begin the rest of our life

together forever as husband and wife.

Our dreams came true, with love and more

Adventures to have, the world to explore

We'll share our joys, we'll share our sorrows;

We can already see many bright tomorrows.

We'll share our friends and family, too.

And you are part of that special crew.

Thank toy for celebrating our wedding day

As we share our vows we just want to say:

These wedding memories will become a treasure,

and see you here is part of the pleasure.

Help it helps good luck
Reply:This is from the TV show Beauty and the Beast, we are playing it for our unity candle. Here are the lyrics.

The first time I loved forever

Was when you whispered my name

And I knew at once you loved me

For the me of who I am

The first time I loved forever

I cast all else aside

And I bid my heart to follow

Be there no more need to hide

And if wishes and dreams are merely for children

And if love's a tale for fools

I'll live the dream with you

For all my life and forever

There's a truth I'll always know

When my world divides and shatters

Your love is where I'll go

The lyrics are by Melanie Safka and it is sung by Lisa Angelle, and the melody is by Lee Holdridge, oh and the title is The First Time I Loved Forever.
Reply:My song was love of a lifetime.

I guess the time was right for us to say

We'd take our time and live our lives together day by day

We'll make a wish and send it on a prayer

We know our dreams can all come true

With love that we can share

With you I never wonder - Will you be there for me

With you I never wonder - You're the right one for me

I finally found the love of a lifetime

A love to last my whole life through

I finally found the love of a lifetime

Forever in my heart, I finally found the love of a lifetime

With every kiss our love is like brand-new

And every star up in the sky was made for me and you

Still we both know that the road is long

(But) We know that we will be together

Because our love is strong

Good luck sweetie!
Reply:You or your fiance could write something that fits what you want.

We used a poem my husband wrote on our programs. He was a little shy about everyone knowing he wrote it so I just didn't put a name at the bottom. For the people that specifically asked where we got it I told them he wrote it, and everyone absolutely loved it!
